Nintendo continues to surprise with small, sporadic additions to the latest Super Smash Bros. title, and today saw an unexpected stage go live.
It's actually a returning stage - the Pirate Ship from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker will be joining the fray, after making its debut as an arena in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
The Pirate Stage will only be able to purchase (£1.79/€1.99) on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, but owners of the 3DS version aren't left out in the cold. The Duck Hunt stage - previously only on the Wii U version - has now been added to the 3DS game as part of a free update.
They're not the only new stages that go live today. The previously announced, brand new Super Mario Maker stage, which builds itself randomly as the battle goes on, has also just released for both Wii U and 3DS versions. It can be purchased on the eShop.
Finally, a host of new Mii Fighter outfits have also gone live. Check them out in action below.
