The DS title The World Ends With You was a fan favourite when it was released years ago and fans have been hoping for a sequel since it was first released, but it seemed like it would never happen.  

Characters from The World Ends With You were included in the recent 3DS title Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance, leading to some hope that they'd star in another game.

Square Enix has released a teaser site, leading to speculation that a new The World Ends With You title is in the works.

Andriasang note that the URL contains the phrase 'Subaseka', similar to the Japanese title for the game (Subarashiki Kono Sekai).

For a long time Tetsuya Nomura has been discussing the possibility of a sequel and now it seems this may be coming to pass, much to the delight of eager fans.
