Another Nintendo Direct, another wave of amiibo to pre-order, and the latest set might be the most special yet.

Releasing on June 26th is the gorgeous Wii U platformer Yoshi's Wooly World, but it won't be alone. Launchine alongside the game will be an real Yarn Yoshi amiibo. Not just a plastic amiibo designed to look like the fluffy dinosaur, but an actual knitted amiibo figure. Adorable!

Coming slightly sooner is a set of amiibo for Nintendo's much-anticipated shooter Splatoon. Figurines based on the male and female Inklings will unlock exclusive stages, and completing the stages will reward you with special weapons and gear.

But that's not all, because an exclusive amiibo of an Inkling Squid will also be available at launch and can only be purchased in a bundle with the game.

Splatoon launches on May 29th.
