A brand new title with Yoshi as the hero is making its way to Nintendo 3DS. Indeed, it may be the year of Luigi but it seems that Yoshi is getting a lot of attention lately, too! 

The new title, simply named Yoshi's Island 3DS, was announced during the latest Nintendo Direct and shows a return to form for Yoshi, as Baby Mario jumps on his back once more for another adventure.

This is the third title in the series, the first making its debut on SNES in 1995 and then a very late sequel appearing on Nintendo DS in 2006. 

This isn't the only new Yoshi title, as back in February Yoshi's Yarn was announced for the Wii U.
