During today's Nintendo Direct, the company announced that the popular Google-owned video-sharing site YouTube is finally coming to the Nintendo 3DS.

You will shortly be able to watch YouTube videos on your 3DS on the top screen, while using the bottom screen to navigate the site.

In addition to this, the Wii U app will also be updated shortly.  The update is set to improve functionality and allow you to watch on either your TV or GamePad.
