Battlezone: Rise of the Black Dogs is a sort of port of the 1998 PC game Battlezone. It’s a hybrid of a vehicle-based first person shooter and a real time strategy.

John Romero’s Daikatana was supposed to be the next biggest thing in video games. A new, much more cinematic, first person shooter from the creator of DOOM and Quake, without any higher ups getting in the way of his creative vision.

I’ve expressed my dislike of “catchup” racing games where it takes most of the race to even reach the leaders, yet sometimes, a racing game can be so enjoyable, that I can look past that part of the game and just enjoy the core racing experience.
